Atelier Drawing Workshop
HALO is thrilled to offer Orcas Island artists a rare opportunity: a free two-day drawing workshop with Juliette Aristides, internationally respected painter, author, and co-founder of the Classical Atelier at the Gage Academy of Fine Art in Seattle.
Artists in major cities often have access to workshops like this. For those of us working on islands and in remote places, they’re far harder to come by. That’s why we’re especially excited to bring this experience to our community.
Workshop Dates
Thursday, April 9 | 3–8 PM
Friday, April 10 | 3–8 PM
This workshop typically costs $600, but thanks to the generosity of our local arts community, it will be free for Orcas Island artists.
To be eligible, artists must be subscribed to the HALO newsletter (we send only a few emails each year) and apply using the button below. Space is limited and spots are not guaranteed.
Apply below to reserve a place.
This extraordinary opportunity is made possible by proceeds from paintings and prints donated by Martha Farish and Susan Singleton, with additional in-kind support from Outlook Inn and Orcas Center.
